 Community & Partners Update Home-Start Greenwich featured in December issue of Waitrose MagazineNewsflash: We have been featured again in the Waitrose Magazine!!!!Thank you to the JLP partners and Waitrose for highlighting the work that we do around food. It really is such a lovely article that captures the voice of our team members who are on the ground doing the core work. HSG Feature in December issue of Waitrose Magazine BT and EE Task force dayBT/EE asked if they could send some members of their staff to volunteer in our settings for a Team building day. As part of our Covid-19 recovery plan we had raised funds to develop outdoor spaces in our area to create stimulating outdoor learning environments for children and so this was a great opportunity to get some of thework done at the Slade Children’s Centre site. On 1st December, a Task Force day was organised. In attendance were 10 staff from BT/EE, some HSG volunteers, staff and Andy from Glyndon Community Group. It was a brilliant day and all the actions on our wish list were successfully ticked off. Below you can find some images, attendee feedback and the project outline.    BT/EE Task Force Action Plan GCDA Training Courses One of our Community partners, GCDA are offering training courses which are all taught by qualified trainers and industry experts with substantial teaching experience.They offer courses in a wide range of subjects across four areas: Support for New Businesses Cooking Skills Feeding your Children Creative & Horticultural skills Whether you’re looking to start a new business, change career, upskill or simply challenge yourself, they’ve got the course for you.All of their training is fully funded for London residents. GCDA Training Courses GREENWICH TOGETHER FOR WINTER  Royal Borough of Greenwich have been working in partnership with the NHS, providers and community groups to develop the ‘Royal Greenwich Together for Winter’ campaign. The campaign brings information about all the support and help that’s available for residents over the winter into one place; making it easier to find and access.Part of this campaign includes an information booklet for residents highlighting this support which can be accessed on the tab below.
