Improving Children's Health
Our Children’s centres offer opportunities for improving children’s health and ensuring that families are able to offer their children the best start. Families have access to information, support and services they need to help their child to thrive.
We work in partnership with health professionals in each centre to run a different timetable of health and well-being activities:
- Child health clinics
- Midwifery services
- Counselling services
- Speech and Language
- Smoking cessation
- Healthy eating
- Breastfeeding support & Weaning
- Programmes to increase physical activity
- Baby massage
