Special Educational Needs & Disabilities Help in Greenwich

Help Is Available

We strive to meet the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs/ and or disabilities, and are supported by the Local Authority to ensure that all children, regardless of their specific needs, make the best possible progress. Each setting has a named SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) who is there to offer support and guidance to parents/carers and children.

With our partners, we offer access to a range of professionals who help to support our families with children with special needs. These include:

Paediatricians

schools re:transition
Camhs -Oxleas

SEND Services

Our settings are inclusive but we are also acutely aware that families sometimes need bespoke access or support. To understand and provide meaningful services we have supported parent volunteers to establish three specific groups to support children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Each group is run by parents who have children with additional needs and is targeted to ensure families can access these services.

Monthly Meet-up for families with Downs Syndrome
4pm – 5.30pm
(Term time only)

New Parent Group (0-2yrs)
Soft Play
(Session suitable for babies with additional support)
12:45pm – 2:45pm
(Every Wednesday at Plumcroft)
Tiny Feet (10mth – 4yrs)
(Also suitable for children with additional needs)
9:30am – 10:15pm
(Every Friday at Slade)
